If it were just for looks alone, I would feel the five star rating was fine and comments were not necessary. Where I hesitate a bit is in how the belt will stand up over time. It is just not something I can predict without time actually passing. The construction of the belt and the hardware point in the direction of good product durability, and I am looking forward to good looks and service for a long time to come.
If you want a sturdy, thick belt LOOK NO MORE. I can not imagine anything FINER if your looking for a work belt to go with your Schaefer Outfitter Dungarees. I know its not possible, but it would be Jim Dandy if you could SPECIAL ORDER an ODD SIZE LENGTH, EXAMPLE a 36 inch belt size is to short for me and a 38 inch belt size is too big! I need a 37inch belt size, I can't be the only one, this could be "QUITE A FEATHER IN ITS CAP" if SCHAEFER OUTFITTER OFFERED THIS SPECIAL ORDER BELT SIZING IN THEIR ORDERING, SCHAEFER OUTFITTER COULD BE THE FIRST TO OFFER THAT AND BE WHAT THEY CALL A "PIONEER"

Very nice belt! Thick saddle-grade leather and well made. It’s a keeper. Most of the belts I have are pant size + 2” which appears to be pretty standard. Had to send this one back to get pant size + 4”. Fits perfectly!
