Bowie Leather Vest

After trading several emails with Schaefer customer service, which were extremely helpful in determining my correct size for the vest, I placed my order. I received it less than a week later in a very sturdy cardboard shipping box, only folded once lengthwise to fit. I have received other orders from different companies where the product is just jammed in a small box or padded envelope. This says a lot about a company and it's goal to treat the customer correctly.

The Bowie Vest fit perfectly and looks great. The workmanship and quality are first rate and you have to love the smell of a new leather garment. From the snap buttons to the inside pockets and nylon lining, this is a great vest and looks to provide years of service. I think it will just get better as it gets older.

I am 6'4", 210#, 45" chest, 40" waist and 37" sleeve length. I have a slim to medium build. Size 2XL Tall fits me perfectly. I initially purchased an XLT based on the size chart, however it was slightly snug in my chest area. The 2XL Tall allows room for an undershirt and shirt. This is a quality made vest. The snaps are secure and stay snapped all day long. If you are over six feet tall, I highly recommend going to the tall sizes. It's really a nice western style leather vest. You have to have one of these in your closet. I love wearing it as often as I can.
