When we set out to build a pair of ranch standard trousers, we first had to find the best heavyweight American Made twill. 9.5 ounces to be exact...a weight above anything else on the market providing cast iron durability year around. Our uniquely western trousers are tailored with a standard rise waist and straight leg. The front is detailed with side entry quarter pockets meaning the top of the pocket is angled in 1" for easy in/out vs. an all on-seam pocket. The back features one open welted pocket and one buttoned welt pocket. There are also seven 2 1/4" belt loops around the outside waistband. Machine washable. Made in USA with imported materials.

They are great! Cut is trimmer than other western pants and the are cut to the size they are represented as. Is. A 38 waist is that and 36 inseam is 36.
Just bought these slacks and so far they are great. Plenty of depth in the stride but not baggy. Waist is slightly smaller than other pants this size but not enough for me to go up a size.
Been wearing the same pair of chinos for 3 years now. I've worn them to school, with a jacket and tie, backpacking in Africa, camping in the desert -- they are incredible. still look almost new except for a little fraying around the pockets. HIGHLY recommend!!!!
The fit is perfect, almost fits like jeans. They hang like my jeans, also Schaefer, and since I cannot wear blue jeans for work, these are the next best thing. They are built tough and should be able to handle anything thrown at them. They look good as a night out, on horse back or even a work pant. Cannot say enough about Schaefer products. They are well made and just in case you do have a breakdown on theirs products, they will replace it with no questions asked.
