Wool Coat With Shearling Collar

I have owned the brown version of this coat for a couple of years now. Extremely warm and comfortable. Many compliments on both jackets. Great product! I typically wear a large in most clothing items, this runs a little big, needed a medium.

Very warm coat with an incredible shearling collar that touts quality. I’ve tried other garments with shearling from other brands and they simply don’t compare. It’s very soft and traps heat well. Most other garments have the same white shearling, so when I saw the black coat I had to have it. I bought the large and it fits perfectly while allowing room to layer a vest if I choose to.

I am in love with this jacket. The fit is excellent. It is form fit meaning it really contour as well, wider in the shoulders than the waist. I have every intention on purchasing the beige version. That being said it is expensive and that purchase will have to wait but as for the cost, in my opinion it’s worth every penny. The quality is outstanding!!!

The coat arrived during January’s polar vortex. Here in Minnesota that meant temperatures below zero much of the month, as low as 20 below at times. Schaefer Outfitters would even agree that this coat is not designed for temperatures that low, not many coats are. Now that temperatures are in the 20’s and 30’s I’ve started wearing this coat and it’s great, I think it will even be fine when temperatures are in the teen’s. This isn’t my first Schaefer coat, so I know what size to get. Even at that most shirts and coats have sleeves that are long for me, not this coat—the sleeve length is just right. So if you find sleeve lengths are typically good for you, you might find these sleeve to be on the short side. Like the title says, I’m glad I got this coat. I’m sure I’ll wear it often.
