5'11" 195 got XL. Comments that canvas isnt stiff is accurate. I have brushcloth and Fenceline Ranger too, all are heirloom quality. This jacket has a more broken in feeling that drapes very well on your body. More part of you fit/drape than something you put on you. Comfortable durable, looks great. Glad I discovered Schaefers quality, value and function
