In order to prevent the transfer of oils, avoid prolonged contact between RangeWax goods and light-colored fabrics. Do not wash. Do not dry clean. Do not starch or iron. Do not store wet garment in confined area. Do not hang on radiators, expose to naked flame, or use artificial heat to dry. To extend the life of this garment; hang to dry naturally. Sponge with cold water when soiled and brush off grit with a soft brush. Periodically reproof seams, areas of abrasion, and any other areas that begin to look dry with refinishing ointment. Be aware that essential re-proofing may mark other clothing or fabrics particularly when unlined garments are worn.

A waxed canvas made to tackle the elements and age like the best bourbon you've ever had. The RangeWax® Blacktail Quilted Jacket features 5.5 ounce, Halley Stevensons wax cotton canvas. Imported from Scotland from a premiere mill established in 1864, known for being the most durable waxed canvas in the market. With an upgraded insulation of 100 grams, this quilted jacket creates a total weather-ready three-season shell. Every detail, from the flip-up corduroy collar, heavy-duty two-way zipper, six-pocket front, left chest security pocket, two interior pockets, and adjustable snap cuffs was conceived to provide the most function possible.

    Worth the Money

    I bought this jacket for my husband. He wanted a jacket that was not too bulky but warm, not too long so he could get off the tractor or in and out of his truck easily and one that had long enough arms. This jacket fit all his wants. He loves it! Definitely worth the money.

    EXCELLENT RangeWax Blacktail

    If you watched Yellowstone series then you saw Kevin Costner wear this jacket in several seasons. You thought that jacket looks very cool. Thats only the beginning, this jacket is very warm at 30°. Its very water repellent. The length is just at hip length which doesn't impare you doing your chores or in a ride. The jacket is very dense but not heavy in weight. You look great in it and it gets the job done. Expect nothing less from Shaffers outerwear.
