Leather Mesquite Brush Jacket

First product I’ve ever gotten from Schaefer that I’ve been disappointed in. The 2XL was way too small - more like an XL or even a large [especially if you were to wear a sweater under it]. When i called their support number I was told “they’ve heard that coat runs small”. Second issue i had was that it is definitely a typical sued jacket vs a smooth distressed looking leather an it’s not lined which gives it a cheaper feel. Perhaps if you wore it more as a heavy shirt vs a coat, it would better suit its purpose. I love this company and the quality of their stuff is always above par which makes this purchase such a disappointment.

Have not heard anything about it from anyone else but I love it. It’s heavy but not too. I’m guessing when it gets colder I will layer a microfiber vest under it and when REALLY cold I’ll add a quarter zip fleece sweater. Looks great. Feels great.

Note: I’ve only had it a month or so. Only worn it maybe 5 times so no idea how durable it actually is. The form below REQUIRES a rating so I’ll give it a 5 even though I don’t think that’s legitimate to ask for a rating on durability in the first month. Ask me again in a year or two.
