Get the Reproofing Wax for your vest!

In order to prevent the transfer of oils, avoid prolonged contact between RangeWax goods and light-colored fabrics. Do not wash. Do not dry clean. Do not starch or iron. Do not store wet garment in confined area. Do not hang on radiators, expose to naked flame, or use artificial heat to dry. To extend the life of this garment; hang to dry naturally. Sponge with cold water when soiled and brush off grit with a soft brush. Periodically reproof seams, areas of abrasion, and any other areas that begin to look dry, with refinishing ointment. Be aware that essential re-proofing may mark other clothing or fabrics particularly when unlined garments are worn.

    Stylish Body Armor

    I struggled with the correct size (L) thru mail order, but Schaefer made it very easy to do an exchange and very quickly. I thought they would run big and it is my first experience with Schaefer clothing. I finally got an XL and it fits close, just like a vest should, but with a sufficient amount of extra room. It is very sturdy and functional. I feel like I will get years of use out of it - when the SoCal weather gets cooler.
