No need to break this jacket in. The 10.10 army duck has been rangewashed down to old favorite softness right out of the gate. The rich three-point blanket fleece featuring the rich colors of burgundy, chocolate and loden creates a rich pop and three season warmth. Akin to the unlined Vintage Brush Jacket, all the standard working cowboy details have been crafted in. Machine washable.

      Good Jacket

      This is a quality, well made, tough, and warm jacket. Yet it seems to be cut a bit smaller (tighter in chest and shorter in sleeves) than other jackets/vests from Schaefer.

      Nice jacket

      Quality material and put together well. Just wish it was heavier made to be warmer, especially in the sleeves. Seems like it will be a good spring/ early to mid fall jacket.

      Felt right, right from the bag.

      I hoped this brush jacket would be a keeper. Needed lined jacket for work in NV high desert.

      This jacket has exceeded my requirements for a well made, warm, durable range jacket. The first two prove out & I expect the third will too. Oddly, my horses and mule have taken a liking to the lining. They might be trying to tell me something.

      One future consideration might be to offer a strong, glove friendly zipper option for convenient use in usually colder climes as I recall a couple of other reviewers have mentioned. Otherwise, well done Schaeffer Outfitters!

      What a classic

      I am so impressed with this jacket, fits true to size, unbelievable comfort that is now my go to jacket, roll it up when not in use. Just feels amazing! Had several compliments in just a couple of days.
