Dolores Drifter Coat

At last, a women's coat tough enough for the long haul and with personality. The coat is generously sized to allow full range of motion and can accommodate generous layers. The DWR'd heavy cotton fabric is a good windstopper. The weather has been too cold for rain or drizzle, but I've had great success with other DWR treated outdoor gear.

I love the colorful lining which gets raves from friends and family. The high quality snaps and heavy zipper should last for years. The pockets are crazy good. I don't have to steal my husband's barn coat to work outside anymore!

I would note that the arms are not insulated, so I don't get overheated in cool temps, but below freezing, another layer is likely needed if not engaged in labor intensive activities. The coat fabric is quite stiff, but has begun to soften up with wear. I'm not get sold on the cord to cinch the waist as it sits above my natural waist. I didn't buy it to make me look thin, so not a deal breaker for me. I may just take it out because I don't like the lumpy line.
