This coat checks all the boxes. Warm (wool), soft lining ensure comfort and I especially like the leather collar. The longer length gives it a more formal look/feel and the side buttons are a nice touch if you prefer more room when sitting. This coat will last for many years to come. The color is a bit darker grey than how it appears in the pics. More of a taupe or grey with light brown tint. 2XL is a much truer fit than the 2XL leather mesquite I returned to buy this coat instead. Schaefer customer service was excellent as usual and the quality of this coat will not disappoint. I’m being optimistic by giving such a high rating on durability since it’s new but it sure seems to be made very well and will certainly be more than ample for the NC winters - including winds here on the coast.
